Developing early mathematics
We are delighted to be able to offer a series of CPD sessions for those working with young children in a wide range of settings including, voluntary, private sector and schools. Each of these four sessions will provide an apportunity to explore best practice and give delegates practical skills and strategies to enhance their provision for those in care.
Working within the framework of the EYFS each session will explore how the role of the adult, the environment and the choice of activities contributes towards improved outcomes. Delegares will leave with an enhanced understanding of best practice and with a host of practical ideas they can immediately implement. While each session can be attended as a stand-alone CPD session they will complement each other for more holistic CPD. For this reason those booking three sessions will qualify for a discount on the 4th Session.
The fourth session with explore: Focussing on number this session will enhance practitioners confidence in helping children to master the key skills of recognising and understanding number, counting and mathematical thinking, indoors and out.
