Embedding Good Teaching Programme (session 1)
This three-day course, with four in-class support sessions from our Teaching and Learning Team, helps teachers to critically reflect on their practice. Teachers will explore academic evidence, pedagogies, share experiences and develop tools and skills to reflect at a greater depth.
Comparison of the quality of teaching of core subjects and foundation subjects will also be a focus to develop the quality of delegate’s teaching across the wider curriculum. Time will be given for teachers to consider their most effective actions and the impact they have on learning.
Delegates will develop further teaching and learning strategies and explore how to ensure these maximise pupil outcomes. Teachers will be given support to develop their subject leadership role, as well as consider their future career progression.
