Enhancing social and emotional development
We are delighted to be able to offer a series of CPD sessions for those working with young children in a wide range of settings including, voluntary, private sector and schools. Each of these four sessions will provide an apportunity to explore best practice and give delegates practical skills and strategies to enhance their provision for those in care.
Working within the framework of the EYFS each session will explore how the role of the adult, the environment and the choice of activities contributes towards improved outcomes. Delegates will leave with an enhanced understanding of best practice and with a host of practical ideas they can immediately implement. While each session can be attended as a stand-alone CPD session they will complement each other for more holistic CPD. For this reason those booking three sessions will qualify for a discount on the 4th Session.
The first session with explore: Ensuring positive relationships between children and adults and children and their peers is fundamental to successful early years. A range of strategies that help children to enhance their self-esteem and recognise and respond to their emotions will be shared. The importance of play will be emphasised in this session.
