Reading (Early Years)
Children need to develop a love for reading and the Foundation Stage is a place for this to happen. This session will explore the relationship between visual and auditory aspects that contribute to children’s reading ability, alongside creating an environment that will immerse children in reading. Planning approaches will be developed to ensure children make the link between phonics and reading, therefore developing the core skills they need in order to read.
