Jaguar Land Rover is rethinking waste - would you like to know more?
From cups to oily rags and from kitchen waste to scrap parts, in 2017 the company saw 7000 tonnes of waste!
During the day pupils will, through practical activities, have the opportunity to learn what happens to Jaguar Land Rover's waste, how they recycle and to look at their own habits at home.
Pupils will use maths, science and research skills.
Pupils and staff will need to bring a packed lunch and drink.
Please wear appropriate footwear (no heels, wedges or open toe/backs are allowed). Please note, there will be a tour of the factory grounds and there will be sudden loud noises from the machinery and robots. To avoid disappointment, please arrive early for registration, the session will start promptly at 9.30am.
